Didn't know it was so versatile!

I initially got this paper as I thought it would be really cute for lining the bottoms of boxes for Christmas cookies as well as wrapping the cookies themselves to keep them fresher longer. This is what I did with the initial set and it worked out really well! They lined the boxes nicely, wrapped well around the various baked cookies we made to give as gifts to friends. Everyone seemed to like them and it really did help keep them fresher longer.

However, I didn't think or realize it could be used for so many other purposes. Using it in place of plastic wrap or using it to wrap sandwiches and things to keep those fresh. Also that it's washable and reusable! Mind blown. Furthermore that I could warm up the wrap and it would have sticky properties, similar to plastic wrap! And it was still reusable after the fact. Very happy with this find and will be getting more by next Christmas for sure!

Impractical

This wax-based food covering is just not practical, especially in the winter. My hands aren’t warm (Raynaud’s) and apparently never get warm enough to make this melt enough to use as a food covering. It was challenging enough to get this to form around a ceramic bowl; I can’t imagine trying to get it to stay wrapped around a sandwich like they suggest is possible. Too bad. I had high hopes. Also, it’s really expensive for how much you end up getting. Now that I’ve played with this a bit, it also doesn’t seem like it would be food safe after using and washing and using again.

Great for reducing waste!

If you are an avid believer in reducing waste, then this wrap is for you! You don't get as much in this package as you would if you bought traditional plastic wrap or tin foil, but it is reusable. Pretty simple to clean, rinse under water, wipe, use a tiny bit of detergent if necessary. Worked great, clung to dishes, bowls, cups, etc., easy to mold to different shapes. Definitely recommend!

Great reusable options

I use beeswax paper to cover cut fruit or wrap sandwiches all the time. Its a great eco-friendly way to reduce waste. I like the roll form because then I can cut the paper to fit my needs. The roll is a decent size and has a pretty tree pattern. It doesn't have a thick beeswax coating like my other paper does. I warmed it a few minutes before sealing a cup and it worked decently well. I washed it and reused it fine with no issue.

First time user

This is my first time trying out this wax wrap, and I’m pretty pleased with the performance. The roll is very small, but it’s reusable, so less trash overall. The designs are cute, and it actually adhered a little better than the plastic wrap (big brand, yellow box) I’ve been using, a fact which I appreciated when transporting dishes for a holiday potluck. I am undecided as yet if it justifies the higher price for less product, but we’ll see if the fact that we can reuse it balances that out over the next few months.

Love how you can cut the wrap to your desired size. It was easy to cut and clung onto my dish within seconds. Also like how it is reusable and eco friendly.

Nice beeswax paper

This wax paper roll comes small roll. It's about 35 inches x 13 inches, a tad smaller than most rolls. I use beeswax paper a lot trying to minimize my plastic footprint. This roll works well and I tested it out with my canning jars which I never can find the lid when needed. Paper was easy to to cut with kitchen scissors. The bee paper adhere well to the lid and I was able to mold it to the jar opening. I removed and re-applied and it molded again. I wrapped my kids sandwich for school and he said it kept his sandwich fine, just like the other bee paper we use. I usually use the wax paper for a few days or so wash/rinse gently and re-use. The longest I have "use" one sheet was about 7 months before it got too bad to re-use. Overall, this beeswax paper is pretty nice, I am hoping this bee wax paper will last as long as my other paper and will update if doesn't.

Cute design, seals well, and stays on

Rolled beeswax wrap that I can cut to the size I need is much more useful than precut pieces. I have several baking dishes with handles, and this lets me get enough to cover several. This did feel less sticky to the touch than other beeswax wraps I already have, but it was easier to shape, and it adhered to itself better than the others do! You can get the wrap to stick to itself simply by warming the wrap with your hand over the desired spot and applying a little gentle pressure. Simply rinse it between uses, allow it to air dry, and you can reuse it many times over. This works well and saves me from having to use plastic wrap or aluminum foil!

Cute designs, not as sticky as others

SUPERBEE Beeswax Wrap Roll, Reusable Beeswax Wrap for Food, Wrap Roll, Reusable Bees Wrap Paper.

This beeswax wrap roll comes in a convenient roll. You don't have to unfold it to use it, just unroll and cut. However, it doesn't seem to have as much beeswax on it as other products I have used. It doesn't stick as well. And while 13 x 35.5 inches seems like a lot, my other wrap measures 14 x 55 -- but it was folded so it looks like less.

I really like that this comes in seasonal designs and patterns other than just *bee.* However, I would like for it to have another layer of beeswax on the fabric. This was more difficult to heat up in my hand to make flexible, and it didn't adhere to itself as well as I expected it to.

Frequently asked questions

Use fabric scissors to cut straight across the roll — no need to be precise, as the wax edges won't fray.

A rough guide: a hand-sized piece for small items, up to a full loaf-sized piece for larger food — you'll get a feel for it after the first cut.

Warm the cut piece briefly in your hands, then mould it around a bowl or food — the warmth softens the wax enough to make it stick to itself.

Wipe clean with a cool, damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid hot water, the dishwasher and direct heat.

Most rolls yield several wraps depending on how you cut them, and each piece lasts 12 months or more of regular use before it's fully compostable.
